Dusseldorf/Frankfurt, July 23rd 2018 – Starcom, the human experience company, has strengthened its Germany leadership team with the appointments of Birgit Konrad to CEO and Michael Marzahn to COO, effective immediately. With national and international client wins over the past 15 months, the agency has more than doubled and is the fastest growing agency according to RECMA. This strong management duo in Germany will enable Starcom to further harness this growth, deepen client engagements and continue to drive momentum for the Starcom brand.
Konrad previously held the position of Managing Director. In her role as CEO, Konrad will continue to build the strategic leadership role of Starcom by driving innovation and a challenger mind set throughout the agency.
Konrad will be assisted by Michael Marzahn, a seasoned agency leader, who previously served as Managing Director at Blue449. While at Blue449, Marzahn successfully grew a young challenger agency within the Publicis Media network, which most recently celebrated the successful win of the Storck’s account last summer. At Blue449 Robin Jansen succeeds Michael. He is a member of the Next Generation Board, in which Publicis Media is preparing for the generation change. Jansen was Director at Zenith and now leads Blue449 in the position of Managing Partner.
